What is Gateway Single Sign On?

The Gateway can be used to authenticate users accessing a Verj.io Service Plan. Once the user has authenticated with the Gateway they will be able to access Verj.io Applications running on that Service Plan without having to authenticate again. This is known as Gateway Single-Sign On (SSO).

SSO uses existing authentication systems to obtain user credentials and pass them on to a Service Plan. This allows Service Plans to use standard Security Manager functions to secure forms.

Gateway SSO can use any authentication method including automatic authentication such as Windows Domain User Authentication.
